Key Account Manager – Logistics

Our client operates a rapidly expanding logistics network across Ireland, partnering with a wide range of retail locations to deliver parcel returns and delivery services at scale.
With continued growth across their partner base, they are now adding a Key Account Manager to take ownership of a key region in South Dublin. This is a role with real visibility, focused on managing established accounts, improving site performance, and strengthening partner relationships on the ground.
You will manage a defined group of partner locations, working directly with business owners and store teams to ensure the service is running effectively day to day. The role combines relationship management with operational oversight and suits someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for a region and driving standards across multiple sites.
The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of partner accounts, acting as the main point of contact for all engagement and support.
The role involves regular site visits, ensuring each location is operating in line with expectations, addressing issues quickly, and maintaining strong working relationships with key contacts.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure consistency across operations while identifying practical improvements within your accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of retail partner accounts across South Dublin
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key contacts
Act as the primary contact for partner queries, issues, and support needs
Carry out regular site visits to maintain standards and visibility
Ensure partners are operating in line with agreed processes and expectations
Monitor performance across accounts and address any drop in engagement
Work with internal teams to resolve operational issues in a timely manner
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery within existing accounts
Support onboarding of new locations within your region where required
Maintain accurate records of activity and account status
About You
Experience in account management, client services, or partner-facing roles
Comfortable managing multiple sites or accounts at once
Strong communication skills with a practical, hands-on approach
Able to build trust with partners and handle issues in a direct, solution-focused way
Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently
Experience in logistics, retail, or multi-site environments is beneficial but not essential
