An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Installation Engineer to join a market-leading engineering business specialising in the installation of automatic entrance systems across commercial, healthcare, retail, corporate and public sector environments throughout Ireland.

This is a field-based role suited to an electrically or mechanically minded engineer who enjoys working on-site, takes pride in delivering high-quality installations, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and testing of automatic door systems, working with industry-leading products across a wide variety of customer sites.

The Role

Install automatic sliding door systems
Install automatic swing door operators
Commission and test automatic door systems
Read and interpret installation drawings and wiring diagrams
Ensure all installations comply with EN16005 standards and manufacturer guidelines
Work safely on construction sites and live customer environments
Liaise professionally with site managers, contractors and project managers
Complete installation paperwork and commissioning documentation accurately
Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety and housekeeping on site
Represent the business professionally while delivering excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a mechanical, electrical or electro-mechanical engineering role
Previous installation experience within automatic doors, access systems, automation or similar equipment would be highly advantageous
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality installations
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Strong commitment to health and safety
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Full clean Irish driving licence
A positive, reliable and professional approach to work
