Clark Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading organisation within the engineering and building services sector to recruit a Project Estimator.

Are you an Estimator, CAD Technician or Engineering professional looking to develop your career within project estimating? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and supportive organisation where you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, preparing quotations, reviewing technical drawings and supporting the successful delivery of commercial engineering projects.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for mechanical services projects.
Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Producing technical submissions and supporting project documentation.
Interpreting customer requirements and ensuring proposed solutions meet project specifications.
Providing technical support and product guidance to internal teams.
Liaising with Sales, Production, Management and other internal departments.
Maintaining quotation registers, sales pipeline information and project records.
Supporting sales order processing and project handovers.
Building strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, customers and key stakeholders.
Assisting with continuous improvements across estimating and project processes.

About You
We’re looking for a motivated, organised and detail-focused individual with a technical background who is keen to build a career within project estimating.
Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience in estimating, CAD, engineering, building services, mechanical services or a related technical environment.
Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
CAD experience is essential.
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently when required.
