Our client is seeking a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join their HR team on a 9-month maternity leave contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy, collaborative HR function where no two days are the same.

The Role
As HR Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the HR department while helping to deliver a positive employee experience across the business.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration of the HR function.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Manage employee onboarding, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate and deliver employee inductions.
  • Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Track HR metrics and prepare regular reports for the HR team.
  • Conduct employee check-ins and support ongoing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Respond to HR-related queries in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider HR team as required.

About You
You'll be an organised, people-focused individual with a genuine interest in Human Resources and excellent attention to detail.
You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience working in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role, or a relevant qualification in Human Resources.
  • A good understanding of how an HR department operates.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • A positive, proactive and team-oriented approach.
