Sales & Administrative Assistant

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract initially, with the opportunity to move to permanent
Working Arrangement: Fully onsite

The Role
We are looking for a Sales & Administrative Assistant to join a busy team in Naas. This is a varied role covering sales administration, order processing, stock control and systems administration.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, accurate and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders for new and second-hand products, ensuring customer, pricing and order details are accurate.
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and external locations regarding deliveries and product movements.
  • Process incoming deliveries and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Prepare documentation for intercompany and European shipments and ensure transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Maintain and reconcile stock lists, including linking sold products to the relevant jobs/orders.
  • Create and maintain product/part numbers, pricing, costs and coding within the ERP system.
  • Assist with stock transfers between warehouses and maintain accurate system information.
  • Set up and maintain customer and user profiles within the CRM system.
  • Support the preparation and administration of regular stock takes, working alongside the Accounts team where required.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide general administrative support to the wider team.
  • Provide additional team support during holiday periods and busy periods.

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, stock administration or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with ERP and/or CRM systems; Epicor experience would be an advantage.
  • Good numerical and data-entry skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A practical, flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Opportunity
This is a fully onsite role in Naas, initially offered on a fixed-term basis with the intention of moving to a permanent position for the right person.
