Temporary Digital Marketing Assistant

This is a worthwhile temporary position, providing excellent experience in a dynamic and thriving organisation. 
You are required to start as soon as possible and work on a temporary basis, as required. You are based in my client's office in Cork Airport Business Park, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, e.g., managers, clinic staff, patients, and partners and agencies, ensuring ongoing and continuous communication.
  • Partake in the production of marketing communications such as press Inserts, adverts, publicity posts.
  • Promote adherence to brand guidelines; police, format and print branded documents prepared by non-marketing colleagues.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of the advertising strategy.
  • Partake in Events exhibitions and customer hospitality events as required.
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging marketing techniques and new channels.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all the company’s products and services.
  • Creating weekly reports to track campaigns.
  • Social media marketing and website maintenance.
  • Proof-reading advertisement pieces, schedules, etc.
  • Respond to queries from internal departments.
  • Answer incoming calls to the Marketing Department using excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • Carry out other instructions as required by the Marketing Director or other Officer as appointed by the Managing Director.

Key Skills/Characteristics:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of MS Office is essential (i.e., excel, word, power point).
  • Previous experience with social media and content creation tools. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Creative skills.
  • Strong Organisational and Time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to work on own initiative while also participating in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be dynamic, enthusiastic, approachable, and courteous.

Brand Activation Manager

This is a diverse and fast paced role with focus across multiple key customer touch points. Serves as local SPOC for Marketing to any other departments in the local structure. The role coordinates execution of brand marketing activations and interactions in the market. Key focus will be on B2B marketing activity (on line /off line), POS creation and execution, local PR, trade events and local brand activations such as local sponsorships & partnerships.

Responsibilities
Implementation of all marketing activities guided by the cluster (GBIE), this might include:

  • Local coordination and execution of communications (online, offline), campaigns, incl. website- and webshop-activation, SoMe, local promotions (D2C).  Working closely with agencies.
  • Create and localize digital content and print materials to delight customers (visuals/videos and text) at various touchpoints along the customer journey or for specific events such as; fairs, dealer events, etc., to support TMS Lead
  • Supports TSM lead in channel/account prioritisation and annual plans/activity eg. Black Friday
  • Consults with TSM lead on Coop/A&P spend, coordinates and monitors local marketing /advertising budget, shop-in-shop displays, digital activation plans
  • Supports Business Development Managers in translating marketing strategies into effective and aligned marketing plans and executing these plans with the marketing team at the retailer
  • Supporting Product Trainer and Culinary Experts in running training events and cooking sessions in both B2B and D2C
  • Coordinates local display executions, with the retailer and the display

production/installation agency

  • Planning, execution and participation to trade fairs and customer activation events
  • Presenting of novelties, price-lists, promotions etc. to other departments in the local structure. 
  • Supports in the creation of selling tools for local organisation
  • Ensures information-flow to retail-partners and employees
  • Marketing execution for activity with Service

Competencies/Skills

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in a mid-level role, experience in premium-brand company and/or consumer goods industry a plus.
  • Highly motivated to get things done, a continuous improvement mindset, inspire others and be part of a hard-working, target-orientated team
  • Ability to engage and positivity influence internal & external stakeholders
  • Self-starting, intuitive individual
  • Highly organised and capable of prioritising and managing deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Creative – be able to adapt global campaigns & POS for Irish consumers
  • Commercially-minded
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills of the local language
  • Strong mobility and willingness to travel in the country to build and maintain B2B relationships
