Warehouse Operative
Clark Recruitment are partnering with our Newbridge-based Client in the recruitment of a Warehouse Operative. This is a temporary contract position. The role provides an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself in a busy and challenging warehouse environment.
The successful candidate performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick, pack and ship products to customers and complete all associated paperwork.
- Check orders prepared by others for shipment to customers.
- Operate counterbalance forklift.
- Assist with inventory control to prevent stock-out situations.
- Clean and maintain work and storage areas and adhere to established safety procedures.
- Remain proficient in all SOPs in areas of responsibility.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 1 – 2 years related experience, desirable.
- Current holder of forklift licence desirable but not essential.
- Ability to manage heavy goods.
- Capable of working to deadlines and detail orientated.
