System Implementation Manager
An innovative organisation that provides an extensive range of protective solutions across the agricultural, horticultural and amenity sectors. My client proudly collaborates with Clark Recruitment in recruiting a highly organised and experienced ERP System Implementation Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of the new Microsoft Business Central system deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with a focus on ERP systems, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of Microsoft Business Central from start to finish.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear manner.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Allocate time to ensure management and staff are trained on the new system and it is deployed across all business areas.
Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Proven experience in managing ERP system implementation projects.
- Solid understanding of ERP system functionalities and integrations.
- Experience in managing project budgets and resources.
- Experience in risk management and change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
