Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Secretary/Office Administrator to support the daily operations of a busy physiotherapy clinic. This role requires excellent multitasking abilities, strong organisational skills, and a professional attitude to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional administrative support for day-to-day clinic operations
- Manage appointments, patient records, and billing
- Handle patient inquiries in person and over the phone, providing information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Assist with clinic invoicing tasks
- Oversee the clinic's social media presence, ensuring updates are timely and engaging
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimise patient experience and clinic workflow
Requirements:
- Proficient in invoicing and with strong IT skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a medical administration role is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work flexibly and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion, initiative, and a high level of professionalism
- Familiarity with social media platforms
