Internal Sales Administrator

Our client, a well-established and highly respected supplier of industrial instrumentation and technical solutions, is looking to appoint an Internal Sales Administrator to join their growing team in Naas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, working with technical products and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
An engineering, technical or industrial background would be highly advantageous, enabling you to quickly understand product applications and confidently support customers across a wide range of industries.
Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Fully office-based (Naas)
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers.
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
- Follow up on sales enquiries and quotation opportunities.
- Process customer orders from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Provide customers with technical product information and recommendations.
- Work closely with external sales representatives and technical service engineers.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability and specifications.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM system.
- Assist with reporting and general sales administration.
- Keep up to date with new products, technologies and industry developments.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years' experience in an Internal Sales, Sales Administration, Technical Sales Support or Customer Service role.
- Experience working within a technical, engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment would be highly desirable.
- An engineering qualification or technical background is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience managing B2B customer relationships.
- Comfortable discussing technical products and learning new product ranges.
- Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to identify sales opportunities and follow up on customer enquiries.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of IT proficiency with experience using CRM or ERP systems (Sage experience would be an advantage).
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
