General Manager

This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, operational management, and industry expertise to drive the growth and profitability of the organisation.

Job Summary:

The General Manager (GM) will oversee all operations driving growth and efficiency across facets of the organisation. The GM will lead the strategic planning and execution of initiatives to enhance profitability, optimise processes, ensure quality, and achieve financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute a clear business strategy aligned with the company’s mission and objectives.
    • Identify and develop new market opportunities, product lines, and strategic partnerships.
    • Lead the organisation in adapting to industry trends, technological advances, and regulatory changes.
  2. Operational Management
    • Oversee warehouse operations and logistics to ensure efficiency and high-quality standards.
    • Monitor and optimise processes for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
    • Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality controls.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships.
  3. Financial Performance
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial goals to achieve desired profitability.
  4. Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contracts, and strategic alliances.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and building long-term relationships.
  5. Team Leadership
    • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team across various functions.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that emphasises continuous improvement and employee engagement.
    • Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and implement training programs.

  • Proficiency in ERP, CRM, and other relevant business management software.
