Finance Manager

Reporting to the Financial Director, this pivotal role will allow you to showcase your skills in financial reporting, business performance analysis, and team leadership. As a key member of the finance team, you will help drive continuous improvement and ensure the company's financial controls and processes are robust and efficient. The role is fast-paced, dynamic, and offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
As Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the finance function, including cost accounting and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Reviewing business performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and working closely with local management to challenge and improve efficiency.
• Leading business planning, budgets, and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
• Preparing regular financial and management reports for senior management review.
• Taking responsibility for statutory reporting, audit processes, and compliance.
• Leading an experienced team in the areas of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring their development and success.
• Engaging in ad hoc projects, including financial analysis and assisting the Head of Finance with key initiatives across the business.
• Analysing financial data to identify areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to the senior management team.
• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Desired Attributes/Qualifications
• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
• Analytical with a strong understanding of financial principles and operational processes.
• Proven track record in overseeing accounting functions and implementing processes
• Self-motivated with good attention to detail
• People management experience and the ability to lead a team effectively
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
