Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) professional to join our team, responsible for ensuring full compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. This role plays a key part in supporting the site’s overall EH&S strategy, driving the implementation of ISO 45001, and developing robust programs covering risk assessments, chemical and waste management, contractor oversight, and more. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance, lead incident investigations, deliver training, and collaborate closely with the Site General Manager to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

12 Month Contract

Comply with and drive all company EH&S policies/procedures and/or regulatory requirements.
Support the sites overall company and regulatory EH&S compliance.
Support the development and implementation of ISO 45001 compliance across the site.
Support and implement as required EH&S programs to include but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments, Chemical Management (REACH, CLP), Waste Management including hazardous, Contractor Management, Process Safety, ATEX, behavioral based safety.
Provide EH&S guidance on projects.
Develop, provide or schedule with external provider, EH&S related training to/for departments as required.
Advise and audit the compliance of the EH&S programs in accordance with relevant legislation and corporate requirements.
Undertake incident investigations as necessary.
Maintain suitable and sufficient EH&S records.
Work closely with the Site General Manager
