Public Sector HR Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Sector HR Manager HR Deputy Manager to join our public sector organisation on a maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Provide expert advice on HR policies, labour law compliance, and best practices.
  • Support management in handling disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Coordinate staff development and training programs.
  • Manage employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Assist and act as the HR Manager when required. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience.
