Culinary Assistant (Part time)
Our Naas-based client is looking for a dedicated and reliable Culinary Assistant to join their Innovation Team. If you're passionate about maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, this role is perfect for you. You will play a crucial part in supporting the chefs, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and stays spotless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by thoroughly washing utensils, pots, pans, and equipment after each use.
- Keep floors clean by sweeping and mopping after every shift, and address any additional requests from chefs.
- Regularly empty bins, clean surfaces, glass, mirrors, and windows as needed.
- Manage weekly tasks, including taking out laundry for collection and deep cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Assist in product packaging, ingredient labeling, and stock control for the Innovation Kitchen.
- Organize and dispatch products for the Innovation Team and maintain the walk-in fridge/freezer and dry storage areas.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, notifying management of any urgent repairs or deficiencies.
- Be flexible and ready to take on additional cleaning tasks as directed by the chefs or Innovation Managers.
