Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts within a 10-day timeframe post month-end.
  • Provide commercial reports and performance analyses as per agreed formats.
  • Maintain tax reporting, including preparation of workings for returns.
  • Handle auditors, professional advisors, and tax agents, leading annual audits.
  • Address technical accounting issues, including deferred revenue provisions, equipment sales margin reporting, stock accounting, and management charge/corporation tax planning.
  • Manage commercial financial aspects, including cash planning, FX management, working capital, debt scheduling, and integrated budgeting.
  • Oversee balance sheet accounting, including accruals, prepayments, and stock management.
  • Work with ERP and Accounting Systems, resolving challenges and simplifying financial processes.
  • Onboard new acquisitions, integrate entities, review completion accounts, and engage remote accounting staff.
  • Assist in expanding and developing the finance team within the Group.
  • Support remote commercial/customer side processing staff in processes and team development.
  • Manage acquisition growth, post-acquisition integration, and performance improvement.
  • Drive process efficiencies and improvements, participate in premises moves, and handle financial systems changes.
  • Understand, control, and operate the Group's financial business models for equipment sales, service income cycles, and consumables business.
  • Assist in balancing work across the Finance Function, develop and guide junior staff, and lead/participate in intercompany group work.
  • Maintain and develop technical, leadership, and business knowledge through continuous professional development (CPD).
Experience/Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Newly qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement creation, and general ledger functions.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
Required Competencies:
  • Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • High-level Excel expertise and computer literacy.
  • Two years' experience in Finance/Admin role using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sybiz).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and team player.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize workload.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach to learning.
