You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. As their key point of contact you will guide them through the sales process, ensuring their satisfaction with products, quality and services. You will be an integral part of the office-based internal sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Actively promoting sales with new and existing customers
- Managing customer accounts and developing strong relationships
- Liaising with customers at every stage of their order process
- Provide input with strategic sales development and initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sales information on various platforms including ERP, CRM, sales reports
- Establishing customer leads and identifying opportunities with effective & prompt follow-ups
- Collaborate with team on all aspects of sales
- Actively communicate with other stakeholders within the organisation
- Achieving weekly/ monthly sales targets and KPI’s
- Ensure that continuous improvement is adopted alongside sales team
- Undertake other duties within reason to help contribute to company goals
- Ensure safe methods of working are adopted and adhere to all company policies
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal/ communication skills
- Good presentation ability
- Effective IT knowledge (literacy in MS Office/ CRM/ ERP packages)
- Previous internal sales or account manager experience (particularly in the construction environment) desirable
- Thorough attention to detail
- Target-driven and motivated with effective report writing to management on performance
- Ability to work well under pressure – accountable for own performance and business KPI’s
- A team player who expels enthusiasm
