This is a full-time permanent position.
Key Objectives:
- Ensuring production levels are in line with expected demand by appropriate capacity planning and continuous monitoring of demand and supply.
- Briefing grower members on all aspects of the business via regular grower meetings.
- Monthly reports
- Maintaining Producer Organisation Status for the PO
- Ensuring company compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Providing the main point of contact and ensuring effective communication between the growers and the PO Board and with other stakeholders and service providers.
- Building effective working relationships with each member of the PO and have a clear understanding of the member business needs.
- Organising regular meetings for growers.
- Overall responsible for budgets, cash flow and financial reporting
- Preparation, implementation and reporting on the company’s operational programmes and business plan
- Ensuring that the Health and Safety policy of the business is up to date and adhered to and promote the benefits of group membership.
- Coordinating planning and production members produce to maximise market opportunities, minimise waste and ensure optimum returns for growers.
- Providing members with support, advice, and guidance on the production of the crop.
- Providing support, advice and guidance on Quality Assurance.
- Providing support, advice and guidance to on harvesting techniques and processes to optimise grower production.
- To carry out any other functions as directed by the PO Board.
- Degree qualified preferred.
- Strong Business, Administration, Agricultural background.
- Computer literate.
- Accounts experience desirable.
- Experience in Quality Assurance advantageous.
