Working with Kildare's leading food manufacturer Clark have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales person to join a dynamic fast paced sales environment. Ideal candidates would come from Agricultural background and have a business/agricultural degree. You will be commercially savvy and energetic and motivated to be successful. You will have at least 5 years’ trading experience reinforced by extensive product and industry knowledge across the 4 main proteins on international market
Job Purpose: To source and sell raw meat and meat products across all 4 species in a variety of formats
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Naas, Co Kildare
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
- Working with approved suppliers and customers in the Meat industry
- Driving new business, thinking strategically, anticipating and reacting to opportunities within the Market Place
- Being results orientated while being a key team player, communicating effectively with the existing Sales team
- Adhering to the company’s policy on Food Safety and Compliance
- B2B Sales
Skills / Qualifications/ Experience:
- Have at least 5 years’ trading experience reinforced by extensive product and industry knowledge across the 4 main proteins on international market
- Third level qualification in Food/Agricultural Science preferred
- Be computer literate, an effective communicator, languages not essential but would be an advantage
- Have undertaken Professional courses/ training
