Our Kildare based client are now seeking a qualified Toolmaker- Fitter with CNC experience to join the team. The toolmaker-fitter will have the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, be positive, driven and be able to work with minimum supervision. The company operate both manual and CNC machines. Previous experience working on technically challenging applications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:
Produce machined parts manually and by CNC machine, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Reading and understanding manufacture drawings/specifications.
- Manual Machining – Milling, Turning and Grinding.
- CNC Machining – Milling and Turning
- Product Inspection.
- Milling, Turning, Grinding, Sparking and Fitting.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic systems.
- Hand Skills.
- Carry out repairs
- Be flexible in this position and must be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned to you by the company from time to time
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of components and tools used in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
- Verbal Communication.
- Functional and Technical Skills.
- Attention to Detail.
- Self-Motivated with the ability to work under own initiative and within a team.
- Ability to weld (would be an advantage)
- Ability to work in a safe manner
- Must have completed a Tool Making- Fitting Apprenticeship.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a toolmaking- fitter role required.
- Experience in regulatory standards ISO 9001 is an advantage.
