Job Summary
We are seeking an efficient Temporary Administrator/Secretary who enjoys dealing with clients. This position will be responsible for writing reports, handling calls from , and following up on sample and result processing internally. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Report Writing: Compile and prepare accurate reports based on laboratory results and other relevant data.
- Call Management: Professionally handle incoming calls, providing information, answering queries, and directing calls to the appropriate department or personnel as needed.
- Sample and Result Follow-up: Monitor and follow up on the status of samples and results, ensuring timely processing and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Coordination: Work closely with laboratory and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations and communication.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications, reports, and sample statuses.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
- Confidentiality: Handle all information with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
