My Dublin based client is in search of an energetic and seasoned In-Field Sales Coach to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in coaching and mentoring, demonstrating the ability to effectively impart knowledge to our field sales representatives. This role requires observing sales activities, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with the Management team to drive continuous improvement, ultimately achieving sales targets.
This is a field-based position that involves working across various client campaigns, supporting Sales Managers to ensure the accomplishment of our client targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Shadow team members in the territory to identify areas for improving selling techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills.
  • Focus on individual development, working closely with each team member to unlock their potential, enhance performance, and achieve relevant goals.
  • Adapt coaching approaches based on the unique needs, strengths, and challenges of each individual by spending time in the territory and observing ways of working and interaction with customers.
  • Help team members identify and overcome obstacles, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
  • Identify specific challenges and collaborate with team members on addressing and overcoming these challenges
  • Build strong relationships with team members, fostering trust and buy-in for coaching initiatives.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance during real-time sales interactions to drive continuous improvement
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of one-to-one coaching programs.
  • Build capability frameworks to assess team performance and development.
  • Regularly evaluate the performance of field sales representatives.
  • Work closely with sales managers to identify specific gaps and areas of development.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders in the business, including HR, Finance, IT, and Marketing.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in a coaching role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Results-driven with a track record of improving sales team performance.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in different locations as this is a field based role.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in field sales is a must.
  • Training and development certifications are advantageous.
