In the midst of continued period of growth in the market, our client, a global organisation,  who pride themselves in delivering best-in-class commercial equipment, is actively seeking a key member of the North West Europe team as a National Business Development Manager for Ireland.  As a crucial contributor reporting directly to the Head of Sales, we are on the lookout for a self-motivated, results-oriented individual whose role will encompass, but is not confined to the exciting responsibilities outlined below.
 
  • Build and strengthen profitable relationships with existing Laboratory, & Dentist Distributors as well as end users, together with appropriate networking to source potential new partners.
  • Set and monitor joint Business Plans for key Scientific and Laboratory Distribution partners.
  • Monitor and drive standards with Distributors through agreed training objectives to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Be abreast of industry changes and requirements to support the strategic direction of the territory.
  • Implement the company's Marketing and Sales plans, including terms and discount structures.
  • Take ownership of the tendering process for any business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Marketing and Sales policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency and achieve success
Qualifications / Attributes:
  • Experience in field-based sales role where you have worked autonomously is essential.
  • Essential knowledge and experience in either Laboratory/Pharma or Dental equipment sales
  • A good understanding of working through dealers, distributors or partners to drive sales
  • Strong focus on delivering and enhancing customer experience in a B2B sales environment
  • High energy and pace, displaying accountability and self-motivation.
  • Thrives in a busy sales role, committed to achieving targets and success.
  • Comfortable in adapting to changing market conditions with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative and innovative team player dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Working remotely across Ireland with occasional travel to headquarters in Dublin, Oxfordshire, and Germany.
