Customer Service Administrator

As a member of the Customer Service team, you are presented with an ideal opportunity to provide support, gain new experience and grown within a small, collaborative team. 
This is a temporary role with potential to evolve. It is based fully on-site in my client’s Leixlip office. You must have your own transport to access this office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, emails and faxes and respond to all enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Process sales orders on system, advise customers and sales reps of back orders and suggest alternatives.
  • Answer web chat enquiries and advise marketing department of any customers issues with web ordering.
  • Prepare sales quotations for customers and sales personnel.
  • Perform outbound telesales to help drive sales. Participate in vendor days and other sales campaigns.
  • Prepare reports for customers and suppliers as requested by CSD manager.
  • Assist purchasing department with processing purchase orders during staff holidays or sick leave.
  • Request prescriptions for all orders of unlicensed medical products.
  • Process customer claims for free goods from suppliers where customer has given permission.
  • Follow the standard procedure for recording all customer complaints taking special care to immediately notify the Responsible Person of any complaints regarding products.
  • Request and process payments from customers whose accounts are on credit stop and notify accounts department of all credit card transactions made.

Requirements:

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages – Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent and in-depth customer service experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong follow through in resolving customer issues and providing updates.
  • A definite team player, taking a collaborative and positive approach to tasks.
  • Capable of adapting to in-house CRM systems.
