Sales and Business Development Executive

As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a motivated Sales and Business Development Executive to join their team.

As a Sales and Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the Irish market, primarily in the construction sector. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and nurturing existing client accounts to maximise sales potential. This role requires a proactive approach to business development and strong negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market share in Ireland.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target industries.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet revenue objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to management.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish market with existing industry contacts and networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed. Full clean Irish driving license required.
