General Operative – Leading Paint Company

Are you detail-oriented with experience in paint tinting and colour mixing? Our client based in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin is looking for a Paint Tinting & Mixing Technician to join their team and ensure the accurate preparation of paints, lacquers, and stains while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tint and mix materials based on given recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Retain samples and maintain batch records for future reference.
  • Keep the workspace and machinery (dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and operational.
  • Identify and report equipment faults and errors in recipes.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and waste management protocols.
  • Train and support less experienced workers.
  • Adjust and rework returned materials.
  • Operate and maintain Corob/Dromont tinting machines.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in paint tinting, colour mixing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality control.

Field Service Technician – Luxury Brand

About You

Ideally, you have experience as an Appliance Engineer or Technician. However, if you have technical expertise from another industry—especially in electronics, white goods, electrical, or gas—you may be a great fit. Full training will be provided to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out Field Domestic Service Technician duties as and when required in line with customer requirements and Service KPI demands, including planned maintenance, fault diagnosis / repair and electrical safety testing.
  • Develop and maintain service plans for the product scope, explore new business, i.e. service contracts, planned maintenance schedules, etc.
  • Ensure all pre-prepping, spares returns, vehicle maintenance, response downloads, software updates and emails are undertaken on a daily basis.
  • Assist Planning and service dealers in resolving problem calls quickly and efficiently, if and where appropriate.
  • Attend and satisfactorily complete designated company approved technical training courses (provided both internally and externally).
  • You will be required to attend training and/or meetings at head office which may require overnight stays.

Competencies/Skills

  • You will have a very high level of general technical knowledge of Laundry appliances / applications, dishwashers and cooking appliances.
  • A gas qualification is desirable together with solid IT skills, MSA and other software applications.
  • You will be self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills, demonstrate good practice and good team player abilities.
  • Ensure our customers receive a premium level of service.
