Senior Wedding & Events Sales Executive

The Wedding & Events Coordinator is responsible for delivering friendly, professional, and efficient service to all clients. The role focuses on achieving sales targets by effectively converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, guiding clients through their entire wedding or event experience, and ensuring every detail reflects the highest standards of excellence.

Main Duties:

  •  Managing all wedding and event enquiries, show arounds (evenings and weekends, when required) and follow ups.
  • To guide a couple in building their complete wedding experience by using confident negotiation and sales techniques
  • Managing all wedding listings  & third party wedding sites to ensure they are up to date.
  • Reserving and attending wedding trade shows.
  • To track all wedding leads and ensure prompt and consistent follow up to maximise all opportunities
  • Look after all booking and enquiries for small meetings, social events.
  • Administrative duties for the meeting & events office and the sales office – menus, table plans, signage etc.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in wedding or event planning, hospitality, or sales, ideally within a hotel, event venue, or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client enquiries, bookings, and events from initial inquiry through to completion.
  • Experience with online listings, third-party booking platforms, and trade show representation.
  • Strong administrative skills, including experience with event documentation, menus, table plans, and signage preparation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Familiarity with lead tracking, CRM systems, or other sales tracking tools is advantageous.
