Sales Representative (Gardens, Plants, and Outdoor Living)

Operating across 55+ acres in Co. Kildare, our client is known for exceptional customer service, mature specimen trees, and bespoke garden design services. They are a growing, dynamic business that treats every team member like family.
The Role:
They're expanding their sales team from three to five members to support continued growth. This is a customer-facing role perfect for someone passionate about plants and gardens who thrives in a supportive, family-business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert plant advice and customer consultations on the nursery
• Process orders efficiently through integrated systems
• Handle B2C and B2B client communications via phone, email, and in person
• Assist with plant displays, stock management, and nursery presentation
• Support trade clients including landscapers and commercial projects
• Contribute to achieving team sales targets with a rewarding bonus structure
Essential Requirements:
• Genuine passion for gardens, plants, and outdoor living
• Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable nature
• Strong communication skills for diverse clientele
• Physical ability to move plants and work outdoors in all weather
• Flexibility to work Saturdays with a midweek day off
Desirable Skills:
• Horticultural knowledge or willingness to learn
• Experience in retail/sales environment
• Basic plant identification skills
• Interest in sustainable gardening practices

Working Pattern:
• 5 days per week including Saturdays
• Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm
• Wednesday, Thursday: Open from 8am, with some 10am – 7pm shifts (rota basis)
• Sundays off
• One weekday off
