Qualified Accountant – Charity Sector Experience Necessary – Immediate Start
Overview:
Join our client's team as a Qualified Accountant and lead their organisation's financial strategy. This pivotal role ensures their financial sustainability and growth, contributing to their mission of delivering housing and community-focused services.
Responsibilities:

Lead the finance function, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with organisational goals.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance and accuracy.

Manage day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable and payroll coordination.

Develop and maintain effective financial systems and controls.
-
Collaborate across functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Produce I&E Management Accounts, manage cash flow and balance sheet and comprehensively talk the Board through these.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIMA).

Minimum 3 years of senior finance experience with expertise in financial management and reporting.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and social housing legislation.

Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:

Ability to work independently and proactively.

Full Irish driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business purposes.
