Part Time Book-Keeper (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day and monthly financial operations. This role is part-time, with flexible hours and a hybrid working model (mix of on-site and remote).  The ideal candidate will be proficient in Sage 50, Excel, and general IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post monthly statements for bank, Visa, receipts, payments, and supplier invoices
  • Back up Sage 50 software and perform updates
  • Ensure Bitdefender security is up to date
  • Reconcile bank accounts, suppliers, and debtor accounts
  • Process weekly wages
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns 
  • Maintain RTD spreadsheet
  • Submit VIES returns 
  • Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reports, opening & closing stock, HP agreements, and interest accrued reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping role
  • Proficiency in Sage 50, Microsoft Excel, and general IT systems
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment

Optional (not essential) Marketing Component:
For candidates with marketing and finance experience, there is an opportunity to contribute to:

  • Brochure and product label design
  • Batch customer emailing and database engagement
