HR Manager (Full-Time | Permanent)

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of HR operations within a fast-paced organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role combines hands-on HR delivery with strategic input across employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, and culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking for autonomy, influence, and visibility at leadership level.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver day-to-day HR operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish employment law, HR best practice, and WRC guidelines.
  • Lead all employee relations activities including investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management.
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, headcount management, and annual review processes.
  • Support employee return-to-work and role redesign following illness or injury.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Track HR metrics and KPIs, analyse trends, and recommend improvements.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and employee relations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
