? The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join a high-performing finance function on a 12-month contract.
This is a key role supporting strategic decision-making, financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across the business. You’ll partner with senior leaders, drive insight-led analysis, and help shape financial direction through strong modelling and commercial awareness.

? What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Planning & Forecasting

Lead the tri-annual forecasting process
Build robust financial models (revenue, cost, profitability)
Deliver scenario and sensitivity analysis
Monitor forecast vs actual performance and explain variances
Partner with department leaders to provide data-driven insights
Support strategic initiatives and cost optimisation

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for senior leadership
Analyse key financial and operational drivers
Identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends

Operational Finance

Support P&L, balance sheet and working capital management
Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
Participate in annual audit activities
Support financial management of major projects
Deliver corporate-level reporting

Team Leadership

Lead and prioritise team workload
Coach and develop team members
Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Drive innovation in reporting and modelling processes

Systems & Continuous Improvement

Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting tools
Ensure data integrity across systems
Support system implementations and automation initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes

? What We’re Looking For

Qualified Accountant with 10+ years’ experience
Experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles
Proven experience leading and developing a finance or analytical team
Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise
Strong variance analysis and forecasting experience
Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce or similar ERP/CRM platforms)
Systems implementation experience
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
