Environment, Health & Safety Lead – Onsite in Leixlip
Are you an experienced EHS professional ready to take the lead in a strategic, high-impact role? Our client, a leading services provider, is seeking a dedicated and proactive EHS Lead to join a site-based leadership team supporting a major strategic customer.
About the Role:
As the EHS Lead, you will develop, implement, and manage site-specific health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs. You will oversee risk mitigation strategies, ensure full regulatory compliance, conduct audits and inspections, and lead safety-related investigations. You’ll act as a key liaison between internal departments, external stakeholders, and the client’s H&S representatives.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Designing and executing health & safety programs

Leading inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Managing accident investigations and recommending improvements
-
Ensuring compliance with Irish and European safety regulations

Delivering training sessions and Toolbox Talks

Coaching and managing a site-based EHS team
-
Reporting on H&S performance, trends, and KPIs
Requirements:
-
Degree in Health & Safety (or equivalent)
-
Full clean driving licence
-
Valid visa to work in Ireland full-time

Strong communication and leadership skills
-
Thorough understanding of safety legislation and best practices
Desirable:
-
Safe Pass, PSDP/PSCS experience
-
Manual Handling/VDU/Ergonomic trainer certification

Auditor or Train-the-Trainer qualification
-
IOSH chartered or working toward chartership
