The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Business Development Executive to cover the South West region (Cork, Kerry, Tipperary) for a growing organisation operating in the logistics and e-commerce space.
This is a field-based role focused on building a network of retail partners — ideal for someone based locally who enjoys being on the road, meeting business owners, and driving new business.
You will take full ownership of your territory, with the autonomy to grow and develop it.
The Role
- Develop and expand a network of retail partners across the South West
- Identify and engage convenience stores and independent retailers
- Meet decision-makers face-to-face and present partnership opportunities
- Secure new agreements and grow regional coverage
- Support onboarding and ensure a smooth setup for new partners
- Build strong, long-term relationships with active accounts
- Ensure partners operate in line with processes and standards
- Track activity and pipeline through CRM
- Provide feedback from the market to support business growth
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or territory sales
- Comfortable in a fully field-based, on-the-road role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing ability
- Self-motivated with strong territory management skills
- Commercial mindset with a relationship-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or convenience sectors
- Background in logistics, e-commerce, or last-mile delivery
- Experience onboarding or managing partner networks
