Business Accounts Manager

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Reporting to: Commercial Manager


The Opportunity

This is a commercially focused role offering the chance to take ownership of key customer accounts while actively driving new business growth. You will play a central role in expanding market share, strengthening supplier relationships, and contributing to a broader growth strategy within a fast-moving, results-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver revenue and margin targets across a portfolio of key accounts

  • Grow and develop existing customer relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities

  • Proactively identify and secure new business through targeted market research and outreach

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders

  • Work cross-functionally with finance and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operations

  • Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, contributing to weekly commercial reviews

  • Contribute to wider sales strategy and long-term business planning

  • Represent our client professionally in all customer and industry interactions

  • Support the execution of product and commercial strategies

  • Ensure full compliance with operational procedures and relevant food regulations

  • Travel as required, including international travel


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial mindset with proven experience in account management or business development

  • Ability to manage and grow key accounts while identifying new revenue streams

  • Experience within food production or a related sector is advantageous

  • Third-level qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Agricultural Science, Business, or Marketing (preferred)

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Full driver’s licence and valid passport, with flexibility to travel
