Location: Nurney, Co. Kildare
Salary: €40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)

About the Role

My client, a well-established organisation operating within the turf and groundcare sector, is currently seeking a Mechanic / Agricultural Mechanic / Technician to join their team in Nurney, Co. Kildare.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of specialist equipment used in environments such as golf courses and racecourses, including ride-on mowers and large groundcare machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair a range of turfcare and groundcare equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety procedures
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Support workshop operations and ensure a clean, organised work environment

Requirements

Previous experience as a Mechanic, Agricultural Mechanic, Technician, or similar role
Experience working with machinery such as ride-on mowers, tractors, or similar equipment (desirable)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Full driving licence (desirable)
