You will work with the Tourist information Team delivering excellent standards in service and hospitality.
- Offer the ultimate visitor experience by being luxury ambassadors for hospitality and guest services
- Promote a range of innovative and efficient ‘concierge style’ services
- Promote and cross-sell all added value services associated
- Assist and advise guests with a wider tourism offer, such as booking entertainment, sightseeing tours, theatre tickets and restaurants, making reservations on their behalf
- Highlight the attractions in the surrounding area and our community partners, as well as local and national tourist attractions in line with the objectives of our main tourism partners
- Own and resolve customer issues in a professional and reassuring manner and in accordance with company policy
- Compile daily and weekly reports and engage with the Hospitality programme as instructed by the Tourist Information Centre Manager .
- At least two years’ experience in a host, customer/guest services or tourism role within a premium or luxury environment, including hotel, tourism, retail and events sectors
- A passion for working with people, using excellent interpersonal skills with impact and influence
- Ability to multitask and enjoy the challenge of a busy customer focused day.
- Computer literate
- Ability to feedback opportunities that will improve customer experience
