Job Summary:
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the company's human resources functions. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
Facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
HR Policies and Compliance:Ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
Regularly review and update HR policies to align with best practices and legal requirements.
Performance Management:Support performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
Assist in the development and implementation of training programs.
Benefits Administration:Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Ireland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is a plus.
