KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Services
- Build and maintain working relationships with the soft services management team, local security officers, emergency services, Local Authorities and Government agencies
- Ensure that agreed standard service levels are being met daily
- Attend contract review meetings with the service provider to assess the service levels
- Ensure compliance in all areas of service delivery
- Liaise with Security manager an team leaders to ensure that the Rota / planned cover is sufficient to ensure excellent security standards even during peak trade times
- Build relationships with site managers and team leaders to ensure the team are focused and completing periodic tasks
- Support shift leader to ensure exceptional cleaning standards at all times
- Support the services rota ensuring the correct levels of resource are in place at all times including additional support for events, increased volumes and extended trading hours
- Attend monthly service level meetings with contract manager to ensure the contracted levels of service
- Monitor the budgets and understand the importance of managing resource in respect to budget. Source competitive quotes prior to contract renewal in conjunction with the Operations Management team
- Maintain stock levels and ordering of all necessary consumables required for cleaning an hygiene
- Support planned maintenance works ensuring communication and details are delivered to the appropriate level
- Ensure the reactive maintenance list is communicated and completed in a timely manner
- Supervise on-site maintenance works to ensure that the quality specified is provided and that completion is achieved within agreed programme timing
- Ensure competitive quotations are received for any maintenance projects in order to comply with financial procedures
- Attend regular meetings with the maintenance teams to review work completed and future projects
- Manage the production of weekly work sheets for the maintenance department
- Ensure contract Service levels are managed for parking operations
- Support process and procedures for staff parking, brand deliveries and offsite parking management and Valet operations
- Support the operations management team to effectively manage parking budgets
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience with facilities / operational management essential
- BIFM or IFMA qualification in Facilities Management preferable
- Hospitality / Event management experience preferable
- Strong experience working in a fast moving environment advantageous.
Background and Skills

- Extensive experience in a commercial or leisure center, the hospitality business or tourism industry is essential
- Experience in leading a team mixed of employees and contractors to achieve the agreed service standard
- Proven experience in contractor management and budget management
- Able to work well with all levels across the business
- Excellent in building and maintaining relationship with internal and external parties
- Demonstrate a customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to prioritize your work to meet tight and multiple deadlines
- Able to work during opening hours from Monday to Sunday on rotation
- Fluent in English and any other European language would be beneficial
