This administration assistant position presents a balanced and flexible opportunity for the right candidate. You will work on site in my client’s office in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. This is a busy role and you are expected to mould into the role as soon as possible.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Support all administrative activities of the General Manager.
  • Managing client correspondence and highlighting any priority areas that require attention. Manage email inbox and inbound calls.
  • Certain basic accounting tasks as requested.
  • Assisting to co-ordinate relevant activities, events and meetings.
  • Managing databases and filing systems for the General Manager.
  • Co-ordinating the scheduling and materials for meetings.
  • Providing high level secretarial support and planning to key internal and external meetings involving the General Manager, attending as needed.  Support includes preparing reports, correspondence, briefing notes, presentation materials, producing minutes and ensuring follow-up actions are progressed.
  • Supporting the administration requirements of other team members.
  • Providing support as needed on new projects and initiatives.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrable experience in a strong administration role.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and hit the ground running.
  • Strong attention to detail and co-ordination skills.
  • Impeccable standard of confidentiality.
  • The capacity to work well within a team.
  • Accurate and thorough approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
  • Logical thinking and comfortable with multi-tasking on a daily basis. 
  • Practical and proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Good level of proficiency in MS Office skills, e.g., Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
