We have partnered with our client to recruit a full time permanent HR Business Partner. This is an exciting role that will give you an opportunity to sink your teeth into a wide variety of HR projects and people focused matters.
 

The HR Business Partner will be a part of the leadership team in Ireland and report to the Operations Director. The key responsibilities and requirements for the role are as follows:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all duties in alignment with values and best practice standards.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on HR and people-related issues.
  • Partner with the Global HR team to implement global processes, projects, and policies at the local level.
  • Manage and deliver various people systems, including SAP Success Factors/Core for recruitment, selection, and employee induction.
  • Oversee performance management processes.
  • Handle learning and development initiatives.
  • Manage HR-related budgets (subject to mandate).
  • Facilitate the reintegration or redesign of roles for employees returning from illness, disability, or injury, ensuring alignment with the overall versatility plan.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, including transactional HR activities.
  • Collaborate with the payroll manager to resolve any payroll disputes promptly.
  • Take ownership of HR policies and make recommendations to optimize them.
  • Advise the Operations Director on working with union groups to modernize longstanding employee-management agreements.
  • Stay updated on national and EU employment laws and practices.
  • Manage employee relations and communications.
  • Work with the leadership team to implement improvements based on the results of the employee engagement survey.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HRM or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Membership with CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).
  • Experience in managing wage/pay negotiations is essential.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a track record of driving initiatives and managing change effectively.
  • Ability to work with multiple levels of an international business, including operations, technical, sales, finance, and senior management.
  • Experience in implementing and delivering the HR agenda using SAP Success Factors.
