Clark Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with their client, a leader in the FMCG industry based in Dublin 12 to recruit an Engineering Group Manager. This is a full-time permanent position. 

As an Engineering Group Manager you will be:
  • Reporting to the Operations Director.
  • Consistent with a hands-on approach, and ownership for results, on-call for critical issues is essential
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, and on an ongoing basis evaluate the effectiveness of the PM program.
  • Coach, develop and manage a team of multi-skilled engineers to best effect.
  • Responsibility for Health & Safety coordination and to lead site Safety Initiatives, including Safety Action Team.
  • To Champion Quality
  • Set challenging performance goals for the team, monitor individual effectiveness, identify skills gaps, and implement programs to address.
  • Work within BRC / ISO9000 and show continuous improvement initiatives with that framework.
  • Deliver best in class machine uptime and efficient factory maintenance. On call re plant breakdown.
  • Liaise with Local Authorities, environmental agencies and insurers, to best effect for the company.
  • Can demonstrate and communicate concepts clearly and credibly.
  • Show ability to be innovative and have excellent trouble-shooting skills.
  • Develop budgets and deliver performance within the agreed budget. Control cost of outside contractors to a minimum.
  • Project Engineering management – identification, delivery, and post completion audit.
  • Identify “green” initiatives consistent with the work which has been championed to date.
