TMS IT  Business Analyst x 3

Reporting to TMS & Data Analytics Manager

The Tasks

This team covers the area of the transport management platform (TMP), business process integration with external software provider, data management, analysis and warehousing. The specific roles will be set according to projects at hand and the corresponding work packages:

•             Close collaboration with the business teams to understand business challenges and find solutions through data analytics

•             Assisting with acceptance integration/testing and developing project plans

•             Determining the present and future business processes

•             Project Management in developing TMP functions, Carrier Integration and setting-up IT infrastructure for Warehouses

•             Facilitation the discussion and requirements among stakeholders and documenting requirements to provide data-driven recommendations.

•             Running analysis projects and assessing processes based on data analytics

•             Assisting with acceptance integration/testing and developing project plans

•             Monthly IT Workshops with Business Travel to Germany and Switzerland

•             Gathering intelligence from team about needs and future growth

•             Evaluation and monitoring of quality and plausibility of data

•             Development and maintenance of processes and documentation

Your Profile

•             Experience in business IT analytics or software development, covering a significant portion, but not necessarily all, of the above tasks

•             Bachelor in Information Systems,  Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics (or other sciences) matched with relevant professional experience

•             Alternatively strong experience in freight forwarding with a strong data analytics affinity and secondary education

•             Curious to understand data to build the bridge between IT know-how and business understanding

•             Strong ability to abstract and think analytically

•             Strong problem-solving skills

•             Basic knowledge about Logistics IT SAP WM or transportation platforms

•             Good skills in MS Office/Excel

•             Know-how of computing infrastructure (HW specifications, security, networking) is beneficial

•             Fluent spoken and written knowledge of English, in addition German, Polish is desirable

•             Independent working method and team spirit, ability to work under pressure

•             Reliability, diligence, determination, and sense of responsibility

•             European Passport due to regular business travel to Germany and Switzerland

•             Flexibility due to Rotating Shift System to cover Global Logistics Footprint (Asia/Pacific and Americas)
