Office Administrator – Immediate Start
Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Clane-based client for an experienced and motivated Office Administrator. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering and directing incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
- Processing customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Inputting data and maintaining records using Sage
- Welcoming and assisting visitors with enquiries
- Handling card payments and general office transactions
- Supporting accounts functions including debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinating and ensuring smooth flow of orders to field-based staff
- General administrative duties as required to support the team
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Systems-savvy with good IT skills (experience with Sage is an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong common sense
- Reliable, punctual, and efficient
