Our Dublin 7 client is looking for a high-level administrator. The Service Administrator will assist the Manager, Board of Directors, Registration Panel, as appropriate, and the development of its services and will ensure the maintenance and development of high-quality administrative systems and practices throughout the organisation.


Overview
The Service Administrator will take primary responsibility for ensuring the development and maintenance of efficient, effective, and carefully documented systems and practices across a range of key areas and will ensure organisational compliance (under the direction of the Manager) with all relevant legislation.


Main Duties and Responsibilities
Communications

  • Be the initial office contact 
  • In conjunction with the Manager:
    • Develop and implement a promotional plan, targeting a variety of stakeholders, including the Deaf community, interpreters, public and other services, and the general public.
    • Produce a monthly newsletter for registered interpreters, including information on suitable Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and training opportunities available to interpreters.
  • Manage social media accounts, ensuring activities from across the organisation are published in a professional, accessible, and creative manner.
  • Maintain and update website including the published list of Sign Language Interpreters.

Financial Administration
 
  • To prepare and maintain, in cooperation with the Manager and Board of Management, full and proper financial records of all transactions carried out on behalf of the company and where appropriate.
  • Monitor income and expenditure and assist Manager with preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Undertake all bookkeeping responsibilities, including payments and invoicing.
  • Liaison with creditors, debtors, and financial institutions.
  • Monitor financial compliance and record-keeping as per Citizens Information Board (CIB)
