In this role, you will have full ownership, driving the identification, sourcing, and procurement of our product offerings. Hybrid Role:

Responsibilities

 
  • Oversee designated accounts to ensure timely product delivery, address quality concerns, and manage payment and inventory in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement Team to place orders.
  • Serve as the primary office contact for all customers (excluding Customer Service queries), collaborating with the Sales Team to handle customer complaints related to product quality and specifications.
  • Communicate with the Procurement Department regarding order statuses and delivery dates.
  • Monitor branded stock reports and escalate orders or issues for review.
  • Provide branded stock data to the Sales Team, highlighting performance against forecasts.
  • Generate general stock quotations in collaboration with the Sales Team.
  • Coordinate with Procurement on quotations for branded stock.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records, tracking the Sales Team's interactions with customers.
  • Prepare and manage sales contracts and agreements.
  • Compile and maintain up-to-date briefings on customer backgrounds and orders for the Sales Team, identifying down trading/non-trading customers and slow-moving stock in customers.
  • Update all sales reports as needed to ensure current and accessible data for the Sales Team and Head of Sales.
  • Prepare weekly sales forecasts for customers placing orders as required.
  • Research prospecting information and provide briefings to the Sales Team for sales leads and pitches.
  • Assist the Head of Sales in managing the sales department's budget and commissions.
  • Coordinate the issuance of samples to customers as necessary.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by management, including non-sales specific duties.

Experience:
  • In depth experience in sales support
  • Packaging industry experience.
  • Experience with sales industry software like salesforce and client relationship management (CRM) systems, or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative record keeping practices.
  • Working knowledge of managing budgets and keeping track of sales commissions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive approach toward problem-solving.
