We're currently seeking a skilled and committed Electrical Assistant to join our esteemed team located in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, Ireland.
As an Electrical Assistant, you'll be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of batteries and industrial chargers across multiple customer sites. Your responsibilities will include precise installation, maintenance, and emergency repairs to guarantee optimal functionality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute precise installations, maintenance, and repairs of batteries and industrial chargers at customer sites.
- Offer valuable guidance to customers on equipment usage, maintenance best practices, and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and engage in negotiations with customers for product sales or replacements.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults swiftly, and meticulously document reports using advanced technology.
- Prioritize safety and ensure adherence to regulatory standards at customer sites, maintaining a secure working environment.
Performance Objectives:
- Demonstrate exceptional technical problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Approach tasks methodically, ensuring thoroughness and completeness in every aspect.
- Exceed customer expectations through outstanding service delivery and professionalism.
- Foster strong relationships both internally within our team and externally with our valued customers.
Qualifications:
- While experience with large-scale batteries and chargers is beneficial, it's not mandatory.
- Possession of electrical or electronic qualifications such as C&G, 17th Edition, ONC, NVQ, etc., is preferred but not essential.
- Flexibility to travel nationally as required.
