My client, a long established General Practice Law Firm, is looking for an experience Legal Secretary to join their firm. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a close-knit team and a chance to develop and enhance upon your current skill set. With the ability to work on your own initiative, you will have the ability to multi-task whilst also prioritising your workload. Your core duties will include but, are not limited to :
Duties:
- Dictaphone typing
- Filing
- Photocopying
- Dealing with client queries
- Providing reception cover from time to time - when receptionist is not in the office
- Court attendance on barrister’s or lodging court papers
Desired Skills:
- At least 3 years experience in a legal firm
- Litigation experience an advantage
- Organised, professional and conscientious
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of the MS Package
- Excellent audio – typing skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with written communication
