The Opportunity
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Naas, is seeking an ambitious Senior Civil Infrastructural Designer to join their expanding infrastructure team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced civil engineer/designer to take a lead role in the design and delivery of significant residential and commercial developments across Ireland.

The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading infrastructure design across major development projects from concept through to construction.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading infrastructure design on large-scale residential and commercial developments
- Producing early-stage scheme designs and detailed infrastructure models
- Managing technical design packages through planning, detailed design and construction phases
- Coordinating third-party surveys, site investigations and specialist consultants
- Managing submissions and technical approvals with Irish Water and local authorities
- Ensuring designs comply with all relevant regulations, standards and guidelines
- Managing and mentoring junior engineers and technicians within the team
- Attending client, design team and stakeholder meetings as a company representative
The Person
Applicants should have:
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status or close to achieving chartership
- 8–10+ years’ relevant experience within an Irish engineering consultancy
- Strong experience delivering infrastructure design for Irish residential/commercial developments
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage
- Excellent knowledge of SUDS, DMURS, Irish Water standards, LRD process and local authority requirements
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
