Rigid Truck Driver (ADR Required)

We are currently recruiting an experienced and safety-focused Rigid Truck Driver to join a well-established fuel distribution team. This role involves delivering home heating oil to residential and commercial customers across the Naas, Athy, Carlow, and wider Leinster area.

While experience in the oil industry is an advantage, full training will be provided for the right candidate. An ADR/Hazchem licence is essential. Candidates can operate from the Athy depot or Naas, depending on convenience.

Key Responsibilities

Safely deliver home heating oil to homes and businesses across the Leinster region
Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and courteous approach
Follow all company delivery procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
Maintain positive relationships with existing customers
Promote the company’s services and products during each interaction
Operate the vehicle in a safe, compliant manner in line with road legislation and company policies
Take responsibility for the proper care, cleanliness, and maintenance of the assigned vehicle and equipment

Requirements

Full, clean driving licence
Up-to-date CPC certifications
Valid ADR / Hazchem licence (essential)
Experience in fuel or oil delivery is beneficial but not essential
Strong time-management and organisational skills
Ability to consistently follow Health & Safety procedures
Reliable, responsible, and professional attitude
